This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead consulting initiatives in the field of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
• Independently create, manage, and enhance ISMS in accordance with ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, B3S, KRITIS, NIS-2, and/or TISAX.
• Perform cyber risk evaluations.
• Design and implement training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs.
• Prepare security assessments for IT and cybersecurity projects.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and reviews, including ISMS, ISO 27001, NIS-2, KRITIS, DORA, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and TISAX.
• Lead initiatives on information classification and establish protection requirements.
• Develop strategies for preventing and defending against threats and attacks.
• Provide guidance to clients on selecting, implementing, and managing IT security solutions.
• Assist client projects focused on AI governance.
• Take charge of your team, including capacity planning and budget management, while actively contributing to the evolution of our consulting services.
• A degree in (business) computer science, business administration, or an equivalent qualification – or extensive relevant professional experience.
• Several years of consulting experience in information security, managing five or more concurrent projects with diverse maturity levels and objectives.
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as AI governance, cloud security, SIEM, security testing, vulnerability management, incident/continuity management, or Identity & Access Management.
• Strong understanding of standard frameworks and guidelines, including BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 2700x, B3S, NIS-2, or ISO 31000.
• Ideally, familiarity with the AI Act, BCM, GDPR, NIS-2, KRITIS, and other standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT 2019, ISO 900x/2000x).
• Verified skills supported by relevant certifications (e.g., IT-Grundschutz consultant/auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, TISP, CISA, CISM).
• A keen interest in acquiring new clients and managing existing relationships (cross-selling) in collaboration with our sales team.
