Senior Manager, GTM Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead and establish the GTM Engineering Function

• Determine the technical direction, operating model, and standards for the team

• Recruit, nurture, and retain GTM Engineers as the function evolves

• Remain hands-on. Collaborate with the team on the most impactful challenges

• Define the benchmarks for discovery, build quality, and impact assessment

• Propel Automation and AI within Revenue Workflows

• Identify opportunities where automation and AI can replace manual tasks, expedite execution, or unlock new capabilities

• Develop sustainable automation patterns utilizing AI agents, integration platforms, scripting, and Salesforce native tools

• Take ownership of the standards for the safe deployment of AI in revenue workflows, in collaboration with the AI Council and the broader Revenue Technology organization

• Collaborate directly with Revenue Leaders

• Establish trust with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations leaders to identify the right challenges and align on priorities

• Convert revenue strategies into engineering tasks, and translate engineering efforts into business outcomes

• Serve as a credible technical authority in cross-functional discussions

• Deliver practical solutions swiftly

• Guide the team in achieving iterative, measurable enhancements

• Balance immediate gains with larger projects that necessitate formal prioritization

• Maintain a consistent feedback loop between building, validating, and refining

• Enhance the Revenue Technology Operating Model

• Collaborate with Program Management to implement and scale accelerator initiatives

• Coordinate with Salesforce administration, Revenue Systems (Q2C), and Revenue Tools to ensure GTM Engineering efforts integrate seamlessly with the broader platform

• Contribute to roadmap, capacity, and investment decisions across Revenue Technology

⛳️ Requirements

• A seasoned professional with over 7 years in revenue operations, Salesforce development, or technical GTM roles, possessing the breadth and judgment to set standards others will follow

• Experience in people leadership, whether through formal management or mentoring engineers and analysts, and prepared to own and develop a team

• Extensive Salesforce knowledge across declarative tools and coding (Flow, Apex, APIs), with a history of creating lasting solutions instead of temporary fixes that fail under pressure

• Proficient with automation and integration platforms (Zapier, Workato, BlinkOps, or similar), scripting languages (Python or JavaScript), and modern AI agent and LLM tools applied to live workflows, including tools like Claude Code

• Demonstrated experience in integrating automation or AI into real revenue workflows such as routing, enrichment, Q2C, forecasting hygiene, or outreach, with the ability to discuss measurable impacts

• Strong discovery skills. Capable of engaging with a revenue leader to distinguish the stated problem from the actual issue and define work that drives results

• Practical delivery focus. You implement iteratively, measure what you create, and discard what isn’t effective without personal bias

• Credible across various functions. You can maintain a technical stance with Engineering while translating it into business terms for GTM leaders in the same conversation

• Motivated by ambiguity and ownership. A blank slate and a new function inspire you rather than hinder you.
