This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Accountable for delivering precise, timely, and impartial medical information (MI) within the designated therapeutic area(s).
• Develop expertise to respond to unsolicited inquiries and manage content response documents on both global and regional levels.
• Represent AbbVie MI at global and significant conferences, and design and authorize logistics for Medical Information Booths.
• Conduct literature searches and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge pertaining to the assigned therapeutic area.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure the development of relevant core content that meets customer requirements.
• Aid in providing innovative solutions for the delivery of medical information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the creation of Medical Value propositions.
• Critically assess literature and serve as a mentor to peers.
• Identify insights related to medical information and work alongside colleagues to develop strategic solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, PA, Pharmacy, PhD in Health Sciences, or completion of an MD/DO program.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or over 6 years in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• A strong understanding of relevant therapeutic area(s) is required, along with a foundational knowledge of how medical information content and communications align with AbbVie’s business needs.
• Drug Information residency is preferred.
