This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget while leading periodic forecasting and long-term planning cycles, which include calendars, templates, assumptions, and result consolidation.
• Act as a vital FP&A business partner to department heads, overseeing departmental budgets and identifying variances, risks, and opportunities in relation to the plan.
• Manage the administration and enhancement of Adaptive Planning, focusing on model upkeep, data accuracy, dashboard creation, reporting, user assistance, and process optimization.
• Generate monthly and quarterly reports comparing actuals to budget, perform variance analysis, and prepare management reporting packages, ensuring consistency across NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, and budget stakeholders.
• Assist with commercial FP&A tasks related to launch preparedness, which includes analyzing sales force expenditures, market access, patient services, travel and expenses, fleet management, distribution/3PL, revenue, gross-to-net, inventory, and COGS.
• Conduct financial analysis for business proposals, scenario planning, and resource allocation discussions across R&D, G&A, and commercial sectors, presented in clear, executive-ready formats.
• Contribute to the development of scalable FP&A processes, reporting standards, and planning governance to align with the requirements of a SOX-compliant public company environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline is necessary; an MBA, CPA, or other advanced finance/accounting qualifications are advantageous.
• 6-8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or business planning roles, ideally within a public company setting.
• Experience in biotech, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences is essential; background in commercial finance or launch readiness is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Adaptive Planning is strongly favored; familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is also preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate with functional leaders, manage departmental budgets, develop executive-ready reports, and support a SOX-compliant financial environment.
