This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement a supply chain strategy for the category, which includes multi-sourcing for the Footwear and Accessories segment across women's, men's, and kids' categories.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard supplier partners, guiding them to align with Quince’s rapid replenishment and Made-to-Consumer model.
• Provide training to suppliers on Quince OS, focusing on operational efficiency, financial modeling, and Vendor Portal functionalities.
• Work in partnership with Merchants and Product Development teams to launch new styles and colors that have been approved through the NPC process.
• Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring a defect rate of less than 0.5%.
• Enhance the supply chain for both speed and accuracy, aiming for replenishment lead times of under 14 days.
• Ensure inventory availability remains above 99% in-stock.
• Drive margin improvement through cost efficiencies and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with supplier management, assessing strategy, performance highlights, and areas for improvement.
• Research and assess potential suppliers located in the Western Hemisphere.
• Present Quince’s business model to manufacturing partners.
• Perform cost analyses for core products.
• Secure long-term supplier success while enhancing operational efficiencies.
• Over 8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing with a focus on footwear/accessories and leather goods, Procurement, or Supplier Management for major U.S.-based retailers.
• Established relationships with factories in the footwear and accessories sector throughout the Americas and/or Asia.
• Proven ability to utilize vendor expertise for product design, cost engineering, and market introduction.
• Background in lean manufacturing, just-in-time methodologies, and optimizing supply chains.
• Strong skills in analysis, organization, execution, problem-solving, and process improvement.
• Capable of building and nurturing relationships with both internal teams and supplier partners.
• Self-motivated and able to manage work effectively in a remote or home-office environment.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficient in Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Base salary ranging from $130,000 to $160,000 USD.
