📋 Description

• Horizontal Strategy and Execution

• Identifying Focus Areas: As horizontal encompasses a wide range, you will collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, and Leadership to determine which specific industries we should prioritize. Your efforts will help shift our approach from a generalist strategy to a focused plan based on growth opportunities.

• Executing the Plan: After identifying key areas, you will implement the strategy. This includes selecting the appropriate trade shows, organizing Egnyte events, and collaborating with Sales to convert event discussions into a measurable pipeline that leads to successful closures.

• Collaborating with the Channel: You will work alongside our Channel team to explore ways to leverage our partner network, minimizing the necessity for an Egnyte representative at every regional event.

• Centralized Planning: "The Glue"

• Process Improvement: We require assistance with standardization. You will spearhead the centralized planning rhythm for the team, creating a shared calendar and playbooks that ensure alignment across our horizontal, vertical, and virtual activities.

• Event-in-a-Box: You will create standardized frameworks that the entire team can utilize, maintaining consistency in quality regardless of who is managing the event.

• Driving Growth through Technological Tools

• Implementation and Expansion: Egnyte is making substantial investments in our tech stack, including tools like Splash, Cvent, Outreach, and iCapture. You will lead the initiative to ensure these resources are leveraged effectively to enhance engagement and expedite lead follow-up.

• Team Leadership and Budget Management

• Team Management and Mentorship: You will oversee a team of two who are presently executing the work: a Field Marketing Manager focused on horizontal strategy and technology implementation, and a Virtual Event Lead managing the company's virtual event operations.

• Budget Oversight: You will handle a significant budget, requiring a meticulous approach to financial management, ensuring accurate forecasting, and demonstrating the ROI of our expenditures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: You possess 8-10+ years in Field Marketing, having previously managed a team for several years.

• Hub Mentality: You excel at centralized planning, understanding how the various components of a multi-vertical team should integrate.

• Systems-Oriented: When encountering a chaotic process, your instinct is to create a template or workflow to streamline it. You enjoy transforming the complexities of field marketing into a systematic approach.

• Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with Salesforce, event platforms, and tools such as Outreach, viewing them as essential instruments for achieving objectives and driving growth.

• Excellent Communication: You are capable of discussing strategy with a VP to explore new sub-verticals, while also being willing to get hands-on to ensure a successful launch.

• Results-Driven: You are comfortable with metrics, and terminology like pipeline sourced, cost per opportunity, and conversion velocity is part of your everyday language.
