This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversees and directs all facets of development activities within their teams, ensuring that all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes align with the organization's established policies and objectives.
• Collaborates closely with R&D Leadership, Product Management, and Security Services (S2) to ensure that their teams are developing solutions that meet customer and user needs in a timely manner.
• Generates and manages the daily workload for team(s).
• Partners with the Product Team to define and execute the 6-month roadmap.
• Responsible for the execution of processes and accountable for the outcomes of the R&D team.
• Manages team(s) to deliver high-quality, innovative software solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, including architects, developers, product managers, CSEs, and product support personnel.
• Provides support to the team by offering direction, clarity, and removing obstacles.
• Instills the Foundations of R&D within their teams by embodying them in daily practice.
• Executes the Product roadmap.
• Ensures teams are highly motivated, performing effectively, and delivering work punctually.
• Eliminates any barriers that hinder teams from completing their tasks.
• Ensures that each team understands the objectives and goals they are working to achieve.
• Collaborates with team members to deliver key features.
• Works with Architects to define and implement the company's technical roadmap.
• Drives continuous improvement in engineering processes and advocates for the adoption of secure coding standards.
• Implements the R&D Department and Team Responsibilities.
• Oversees the complete software development life cycle.
• Ensures their teams adhere to ISMS regulations.
• Cultivates the careers of team members.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in software development or a related role, or a Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience in software development management, engineering leadership, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent foreign degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in networking, security, or distributed systems.
• Strong ownership mentality—capable of driving issues independently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby).
