Senior Manager, DSNP Bid Strategy – Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leads the strategy, execution, and submission activities for DSNP bids across all relevant states and plan years.

• Analyzes CMS guidance, Final Rules, and HPMS memos to inform the design and compliance requirements of DSNP bids.

• Collaborates with Actuarial, Finance, Compliance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure the accuracy, alignment, and feasibility of bids.

• Oversees decisions on benefit design, supplemental benefit strategies, and competitive positioning for DSNP products.

• Manages the CMS Model Materials Timeline effectively.

• Provides leadership for mid-year benefit changes, plan corrections, and necessary CMS resubmissions.

• Conducts bid reviews and risk assessments to identify potential financial, operational, and regulatory risks.

• Maintains thorough bid documentation, assumptions, and audit-ready materials for both internal and external evaluations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in project management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

• A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.

• Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in place of the required education.

• A minimum of seven (7) years of DSNP Product Experience is required.

• At least five (5) years of DSNP Bid Support/Experience is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years in leading DSNP initiatives is required.

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc. is necessary.

• Experience with project management software is required.

• A deep understanding of project management processes, techniques, tools, and the development lifecycle (preferably Agile) is required.

• Strong experience in the healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare is preferred.
