Senior Manager, Data Center Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Overseeing a team of employees responsible for supervising the operations of our Field Technician contractors in hyperscale pods throughout the United States.

• Establishing connections with third-party system integrators (SIs) utilized for deployment and maintenance tasks while supervising their work.

• Fostering relationships with large-scale data center providers for new installations and ongoing operational support.

• Performing inventory management on local spare parts, including coordinating RMA processes for defective components.

• Collaborating with the Compliance team on managing access lists for designated data centers.

• Ensuring 24/7 staffing and escalation procedures are in place to respond to network incidents and maintain SLA compliance.

• Assessing and modifying our training curriculum to meet the specific needs of hyperscale pods.

• Organizing the staffing of Field Technicians within our hyperscale pods.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience along with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Significant experience collaborating with data center vendors and working within the data center environment.

• Proven history of effective employee development and engagement.

• A strong commitment to process improvement initiatives.

• Experience in guiding teams through process modifications and realignments.
