GTM Analytics Lead

Posted 5 hours ago

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the canonical revenue data model along with all metric definitions, ensuring consistency in data definitions, tables, and lineage across all Sales systems and vendor data sources. This includes governing calculation standards for ARR, pipeline, win rate, conversion, velocity, and all other revenue metrics utilized in Sales reporting and planning. When executed effectively, metric definitions are undisputed in executive discussions, and analyses are never questioned regarding the credibility of their foundational data.

• Develop and sustain a cohesive revenue data and business logic layer that integrates Salesforce, Snowflake, and third-party vendor sources. Continuously audit for quality gaps, metric drift, and inconsistencies; this layer serves as the foundation for the entire intelligence stack.

• Oversee all BI dashboards for the Sales organization, encompassing executive KPIs to individual performance views for representatives.

• Generate decision-making outputs that drive the revenue operating rhythm, including regular data packages for QBRs, forecasting, and pipeline reviews, as well as structured outputs that facilitate annual planning, quota-setting, territory design, and capacity modeling. The objective is to ensure that leadership always has the necessary information to act confidently, without waiting for data to be prepared or reconciled.

• Deliver clean, reliable, and thoroughly documented data inputs to empower GTM automation; collaborate with the GTM Engineer to validate inputs and identify data quality issues.

• Establish and automate repeatable data processes using SQL, replacing manual spreadsheet workflows within Sales Operations and Sales Leadership, thereby transforming recurring manual tasks into dependable infrastructure and minimizing time-to-insight for the team.

• Collaborate with Analytics Engineering and Business Systems on Sales data modeling and data quality, including dbt transformations of Salesforce data into executive reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient SQL skills; ability to write production-quality queries, maintain well-documented data models, and produce code designed for future maintainability and development.

• Experience in data architecture, management, and warehousing, with a strong preference for Snowflake.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce data, including familiarity with schema, field-level data quality patterns, and the flow of Salesforce data into downstream reporting and analytics systems.

• Expertise in modern BI tools such as Sigma Computing, Hex, Omni, Tableau, or similar, with a proven track record of developing dashboards that are trusted and actively utilized.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a unified data and intelligence layer that is clean, governed, and functions as a true single source of truth.

• Experience supporting strategic planning cycles, including quota-setting, capacity modeling, or territory design, with structured, data-driven outputs.

• Capability to engage directly with Sales Leadership, Finance, and Marketing as a credible data expert, translating technical complexities into clear insights without compromising rigor.

• Background in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, GTM Analytics, or Business Intelligence with a strong understanding of GTM and Sales; candidates with Revenue/Sales Operations experience and equivalent technical expertise are also well-suited for this role.
