This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Strategic Account Management: Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders at pivotal retail accounts.
• Specific Channel Strategies: Create and execute strategic sales plans that pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Enable Results Through Others: Propel the attainment of annual revenue objectives, ensuring team accountability to set sales targets.
• Provide actionable market insights to Sales and Marketing teams concerning competitive activities.
• Key Stakeholder Management: Act as a senior escalation point for customer concerns, working collaboratively across functions.
• Data Analytics + Storytelling: Oversee and assess team and account performance data.
• One Winning Team: Work in close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer service.
• Forecasting: Administer annual sales forecasts using historical sales data and performance metrics.
• Develop and Deliver Go-to-Market Plans that align with strategic account objectives.
• Trade Resource Management: Strategically plan and manage trade and promotional resources to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Management, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience: 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the Animal Health, Pet, CPG, or related sectors.
• Minimum of 1 year of headquarters (HQ) responsibility supporting Strategic Farm and Feed Accounts.
• Farm + Pet Distribution Business Acumen: Profound understanding of customers and competitors in the Farm and Feed channel.
• Digital Marketing: Proven experience collaborating with marketing teams on digital marketing strategies.
• People Leadership: Evidence of successfully leading high-performing sales teams with a track record of driving revenue growth.
• Customer Focus: Highly developed customer service abilities with a strong track record of cultivating robust client relationships.
• Self-Direction: Results-driven self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including storytelling and executive-level presentation capabilities.
• Data Analytics: Proficiency in syndicated data platforms such as Nielsen or IRI/Circana.
• Territory Management: Demonstrated capacity to prioritize and organize territory activities effectively.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively, with anticipated travel ranging from 40%–70%.
