This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the US coverage and pricing strategy for Repatha and the cardiovascular pipeline, which encompasses bid strategy and negotiations, financial planning/forecasting, and lifecycle planning.
• Collaborate across departments to enhance coverage and gross-to-net alignment with brand and financial objectives.
• Take ownership of national and regional coverage strategies, ensuring broad access and enhancing utilization management.
• Formulate pricing strategies that align with both short- and long-term forecasting goals and manage GTN optimization for relevant PBMs and payers.
• Assist in lifecycle management planning for both Repatha and pipeline cardiovascular products.
• Work alongside Market Access, Contracting, Trade, and Payer Marketing teams on payer strategy and negotiations.
• Coordinate with contract development and execution to implement contracts and manage formulary compliance with existing agreements.
• Propel account-level engagement/execution and access pull-through with field teams.
• Keep track of payer coverage and policy trends; monitor performance against established goals.
• Ensure alignment of strategy and execution across Brand, Market Access, Patient Access, Sales, Trade, Policy, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Engage with senior leadership on crucial coverage, pricing, and policy matters.
• Facilitate scenario planning and workshops to evaluate strategic thinking and incorporate cross-functional insights.
• Analyze data and insights to develop pricing and access recommendations.
• Assist in dashboarding and performance monitoring of payer access metrics.
• Contribute to financial modeling and the creation of internal business cases.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members directly reporting to you.
• Promote a high-performance, collaborative team atmosphere.
• Doctorate degree and 2 years in either sales marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations OR Master’s degree and 4 years in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations.
• Experience in sales, marketing, contracting/pricing, finance, analytics, healthcare, or related sectors.
• Background in payer contracting, pricing, or value marketing; strong comprehension of the U.S. payer landscape.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities; adept at structuring ambiguity and driving execution.
• Capability to distill complex information into clear business insights.
• Experience with financial modeling and handling large datasets.
• Strong leadership and influencing capabilities across various functions and levels.
• Knowledge of government policy and its implications for healthcare.
• Outstanding communication skills and executive presence.
