Senior Manager, Content Strategy

📋 Description

• The Senior Manager of Content Strategy will take charge of determining the instructional content and learning materials that the organization should create, ensuring that this content delivers measurable value to learners through TPR and Tutor.com.

• This position will assess, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for enhancing both digital and print content experiences, shaping the strategic roadmap that directs content development throughout the product portfolio.

• Operating at the convergence of Product and Content, the Senior Manager will work in collaboration with cross-functional leaders to actualize high-impact content initiatives.

• This role will establish and uphold the content roadmap, acting as the executional authority for content quality and the overall learner content experience across TPR and Tutor.com.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an advanced degree in Education, Communications, or a related field is advantageous.

• Over 8 years of experience in content strategy, content operations, product management, or a similar field, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior or leadership position.

• Proven ability to create and manage a content roadmap, translating strategic priorities into well-defined, actionable initiatives.

• Strong research and analytical capabilities, with a background in utilizing data and qualitative insights to uncover content opportunities and make prioritization decisions.

• A successful history of leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders across Product, Editorial, and Operations without direct authority.

• A comprehensive understanding of content systems, content development workflows, and methodologies for process improvement.

• Familiarity with test preparation, educational publishing, or digital learning products is highly preferred.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the skill to simplify complex information and foster alignment among various teams and leadership levels.

• Experience in managing direct reports and facilitating professional development is preferred.
