This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Brand Management: Oversee REE Medical’s brand management from start to finish, including brand positioning, voice and tone, visual identity, and governance of brand standards across all channels and customer interactions.
• Agency Management: Direct agency efforts for brand alignment, content management, and editorial planning, creating a publishing calendar that corresponds with marketing campaigns, significant veteran cultural moments, and lead-generation objectives.
• Content Management: Collaborate with Marketing team members on multi-channel content (SEO, landing pages, lifecycle email programs, collateral, and more) and work alongside internal stakeholders and teams (Partnership, Outreach, and others) to ensure brand consistency, voice integrity, and content that drives performance.
• Brand Stewardship: Advance REE Medical’s brand standards (visual identity guidelines, voice and tone documentation, content style guide, and brand asset library), guaranteeing consistent application and accurate representation of our Veteran services across internal teams, external agency partners, and content creators.
• Market Research: Perform comprehensive market research to uncover trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies, integrating social media insights into the overall analysis.
• Resource Management: Oversee both internal and external creative resources, ensuring quality, performance, and prioritization are maintained.
• Reputation Management: Spearhead REE Medical’s reputation management framework, including review and reputation programs with agency partners, competitive reputation defense, and proactive advocacy that distinguishes REE Medical’s ethics and outcomes.
• Customer-Centric Lens: Ensure fluency in content related to the veteran community: every piece of content published by REE Medical is culturally suitable, accurate to the veteran experience, and honors military service and the complexities of VA disability claims.
• Reporting: Create and present performance reports as necessary for the SVP of Marketing; participate in board-level marketing updates and quarterly strategic reviews.
• Communications: Assist with crisis and sensitive communications as needed, addressing VA-adjacent regulatory changes, competitive escalations, and reputational events; collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Communications, and the SVP of Marketing on messaging strategy. Stay informed about regulatory advancements (PACT Act, VA policy changes) and competitive developments that impact the field.
• Leadership: Exemplify rigorous, ethical, and innovative practices; mentor and work collaboratively with team members and contribute to the broader marketing organization as it expands.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• 7+ years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, or communications with direct responsibility for brand, content programs, and creative team results.
• Proven experience managing creative teams (designers, social media, content, or video) with measurable impacts on brand health and demand generation metrics.
• Experience in leading reputation management or brand defense strategies, especially in trust-challenged, regulated, or scrutinized sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build content programs that span the entire lifecycle from awareness to customer-stage retention, with measurable effects on engagement, demand generation, and brand health.
• Strong analytical skills with practical experience in content performance measurement, including web analytics, social listening, brand tracking, and reputation monitoring tools.
• Marketing operator mindset: capable of strategic thinking while also being hands-on and ready to execute. A self-starter who works independently, takes full ownership of outcomes, and proactively identifies and resolves challenges.
• Advanced writing and editing capabilities with comfort in reviewing technical, regulatory, and sensitive content; experience ensuring accuracy, compliance, and brand voice integrity in copy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present brand strategy, content roadmaps, and performance results to senior leadership.
• Experience in marketing within regulated, compliance-sensitive, or healthcare-adjacent sectors is preferred (financial services, legal services, telehealth, behavioral health, or organizations serving veterans).
• A deep understanding of the veteran community and empathy for their experiences is a significant advantage; veteran and military-affiliated candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Competitive salary: $120,000 - $150,000 annually, based on experience.
