This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of and surpass revenue objectives for the Mexico and Caribbean regions through strategic partnerships.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard Tier 1 partners (EPCs, Energy Developers, and Integrators) with a concentrated effort on the Mexico market.
• Lead cross-functional internal teams (Product, Finance, Engineering) to assist partners in finalizing high-value contracts.
• Transition partners from "signed" to "productive" by providing impactful training on Mainspring’s value proposition in power quality, resilience, and fuel flexibility.
• Implement go-to-market strategies customized for the Mexican utility sector, emphasizing behind-the-meter applications and data center load expansion.
• Uphold a rigorous, data-driven methodology to partner performance, utilizing KPIs to manage pipeline health and deliver precise revenue forecasts to management.
• Over 10 years of experience in energy/power generation sales, with a minimum of 5 years specifically focused on the Mexico and Caribbean markets.
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is crucial. Must be adept at negotiating complex contracts and establishing trust with C-suite stakeholders in the region.
• Demonstrated success in selling complex, high-value energy solutions (Turbines, Generators, Electrical infrastructure, Fuel Cells, Microgrids, Large-scale Storage, or Industrial Power Generation). Proven history of exceeding quotas above $10M.
• Familiarity with project finance concepts (IRR, NPV, PPA structures) and the ability to convey technical value to engineering stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; degrees in Engineering or Quantitative fields are highly preferred.
• Must be based in or have the ability to travel frequently to Mexico. Preference will be given to candidates located in Southern California, Texas, or Florida.
