This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead the creation, improvement, and upkeep of dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for both internal and customer-facing applications.
• Convert business requirements into data models, visual representations, and metrics that facilitate informed decision-making.
• Guarantee consistency, accuracy, and scalability in reporting throughout the organization.
• Detect performance trends, risks, and opportunities through sophisticated analytics.
• Supervise integrations across ERP, BI platforms, data warehouses, WMS/TMS systems, external customer feeds, and automation systems.
• Oversee the development of APIs, data pipelines, and automated workflows that enable seamless system connectivity.
• Propel data governance, documentation, and quality assurance across all analytics and integration projects.
• Assist with significant BI platform transitions, including replacing current tools, while maintaining execution timelines for modernization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members focused on analytics.
• Act as the primary internal liaison for Xpedient’s third-party managed IT service provider.
• Manage escalations from the managed services vendor, ensuring prompt resolution of system and infrastructure challenges.
• Own decisions regarding system integration, advising on configuration, connectivity, and architecture across the technology stack of the company.
• Assess and advise leadership on the company’s IT infrastructure, identifying gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for enhancing reliability and performance.
• Maintain awareness of the entire technology environment to guide integration decisions and proactively identify risks.
• Research, evaluate, and suggest new tools, platforms, and technologies that boost efficiency, scalability, and competitive advantage.
• Develop insights on emerging technologies – including AI, automation, and industry-specific platforms – and present actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and a willingness to adopt new methodologies across systems, reporting, and workflows.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity, automate workflows, and create more intelligent analytics solutions.
• Facilitate organizational growth through scalable, future-ready data and technology infrastructure.
• 7+ years of experience in analytics, BI, systems integration, and/or IT management or vendor oversight.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI or a similar BI platform, with robust SQL skills and proven experience in developing dashboards, models, and metrics.
• Experience managing or working with third-party technology vendors or managed service providers.
• Ability to work autonomously, handle competing priorities, and drive projects to completion without ongoing guidance.
• Excellent communication skills – capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences and advising senior leaders with clarity and confidence.
• Proven interest in and comfort with emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools.
• Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
