This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Lead the strategic roadmap and execution for Game Studio, Platform, and Publishing Analytics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and adapting to changing business requirements.
• Act as a strategic partner and advisor to cross-functional leadership, converting complex business challenges into analytical opportunities for your team, and ensuring those analyses yield clear, actionable recommendations that shape game teams and publishing strategies.
• Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and guaranteeing the effective delivery of high-impact analytical initiatives.
• Collaborate with leaders in Data Science and Data Engineering to establish and implement scalable analytics frameworks and technical foundations that support comprehensive measurement, ROAS optimization, and data-driven decision-making across all levels.
• Supervise the creation and delivery of essential gaming and publishing dashboards and reports, offering senior stakeholders timely insights to inform strategy and investment choices.
• Work with the broader Data organization to ensure robust data infrastructure and governance, including tracking plans, pipelines, and source integration (e.g., MMPs, advertising platforms, app stores).
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, consistently identifying opportunities to enhance analytical methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Advocate for best practices in experimentation, measurement, and performance analytics, fostering a culture of continuous testing and learning.
• Over 7 years of experience in data analytics, with a minimum of 3 years focused specifically on mobile games. A proven history of leveraging data analysis to influence game feature development.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence and negotiate at all organizational levels.
• Strong project management, prioritization, and operational excellence abilities; adept at navigating ambiguity, managing complex dependencies, and overseeing multiple workstreams.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling analytics functions that have a direct impact on business growth and performance.
• Familiarity with data modeling, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Looker), with the capability to guide technical teams without requiring daily hands-on involvement.
• Proven experience in designing and leading A/B tests, as well as interpreting results to enhance performance.
• Experience in managing and mentoring analysts while cultivating a high-performance, data-driven team culture.
• A passion for gaming and a strong understanding of how analytics can enhance player acquisition, engagement, and retention.
