This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a team of mentors, which includes hiring, onboarding, coaching, and ensuring high coaching standards.
• Conduct weekly synchronization meetings, one-on-ones, and manage escalation processes.
• Guarantee that pull requests, milestone assessments, and host-manager interactions occur as planned.
• Take ownership of delivery outcomes for around 200 fellows at full capacity.
• Establish instructional agendas and decide whether to directly teach sessions or delegate to mentors.
• Uphold the mentorship quality framework and address any performance deficiencies.
• Manage milestone review roll-ups and take action when fellow work is jeopardized.
• Transition from manual tracking to scalable delivery systems.
• Collaborate with Claude Corps strategic partners and offer structured field feedback.
• Oversee the team's utilization of the Commons curriculum platform.
• Transform field observations into curriculum change requests and ensure feedback is effectively communicated.
• Proven experience in managing personnel and enhancing team performance, ideally within technical or coaching roles.
• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, software engineering management, product management, or related engineering management fields.
• Capability to assess technical coaching quality and evaluate the work completed by fellows.
• Proficiency in teaching and facilitating live sessions.
• Experience in owning delivery or operational outcomes at scale.
• Background in replacing manual processes with scalable systems.
• Experience in delivering work using AI-assisted development tools and articulating the impact on workflows.
• Excellent written communication skills for feedback, roll-ups, escalations, and change requests.
• Ability to manage remote synchronous obligations across various U.S. time zones.
• Availability for approximately two evenings each month for cohort sessions and milestone reviews.
• Preferred: experience in managing coaches, instructors, or managers within a cohort-based program.
• Preferred: experience in scaling delivery teams amid rapid headcount expansion.
• Preferred: familiarity with platform- or LMS-based learning models and delivery analytics.
