Senior Managed Services Engineer, L2/L3 – Overnight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance for a substantial, enterprise-level managed services initiative

• Handle daily operational tasks across various areas such as infrastructure, cloud, identity, Microsoft 365, endpoint operations, and data protection

• Manage and support VMware and AWS environments

• Set up and retire Windows and Linux servers

• Ensure adherence to OS build standards, validate capacity, and maintain inventory accuracy

• Offer support for Microsoft server platforms, including SQL, RDS, and VDI

• Conduct monthly OS patching for both Windows and Linux servers

• Oversee enterprise backup and recovery systems

• Monitor backup operations and address any failures

• Manage Active Directory and carry out access change requests

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in MSP or enterprise IT operations

• Proficient in Windows Server and Active Directory administration

• Practical experience with VMware; operational experience with AWS is a plus

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online administration

• Demonstrated ability in patching, vulnerability remediation, and backups

• Knowledge of ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management

• Experience in supporting extensive environments (hundreds of servers, thousands of endpoints)

• Strong skills in documentation and operational discipline
