Senior Mainframe Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Ensure the proper functioning of our systems and services.

• Develop tests that simulate various business scenarios.

• Identify risks and utilize analytical skills to minimize redundancies in testing processes.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least four years of experience in analyzing, testing, and implementing changes to business systems or conducting user acceptance testing.

• Experience must encompass the planning, analysis, and execution of testing for multiple applications of considerable size, scope, and complexity.

• Alternatively, a minimum of six years of relevant work experience in analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Comprehensive understanding of common testing methodologies, tools (such as Black Box), terminology, and industry standards.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate the implications of proposed system modifications.

• Experience with mainframe testing is an advantage.

• Familiarity with data structures, data management practices, system interaction patterns, and interfaces.

• Advanced proficiency in using software packages or tools for data processing or visualization (e.g., Excel, SQL Queries).

• Ability to consult, collaborate, influence, and present information effectively to diverse audiences.

• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to thrive in a team-oriented, agile environment.
