Senior Machine Learning Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, execute, and assess experiments aimed at evaluating and enhancing deep learning architectures and training techniques.

• Investigate, implement, and tailor new algorithms and model structures based on the latest ML research, particularly focusing on perception, localization, and scene understanding.

• Work collaboratively with skilled engineers to convert research findings into solid, deployable models.

• Expand upon our unpublished research and cutting-edge techniques in geometric computer vision.

• Remain updated on the most recent advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and AI, ensuring that new findings are effectively integrated into our technology strategy.

• Perform exploratory experiments on innovative methods; document and disseminate results that will guide future production efforts.

• Engage in project planning, reviews, and retrospectives, offering technical expertise and mentorship when appropriate.

• Publish original research contributions.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating a strong command of contemporary ML techniques.

• Knowledge of version-controlled experimentation and MLOps tools.

• Proven ability to read, interpret, and apply research papers effectively.

• Experience in independently conducting and assessing experiments from dataset preparation to model training and analysis.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to convert research insights into actionable, impactful solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical concepts to both research and engineering teams.
