Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Personalization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive machine learning projects aimed at enhancing player engagement and retention, from the initial idea to production rollout.

• Develop scalable and reusable machine learning pipelines, emphasizing reliability, maintainability, and performance.

• Create and manage CI/CD workflows for machine learning utilizing tools such as MLflow, Jenkins, and GitOps to facilitate automated and efficient model deployment.

• Track model performance in production, implementing strategies for retraining, drift detection, and continuous optimization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business objectives and user insights into impactful machine learning solutions.

• Guide other engineers and assist in establishing best practices for the design, development, and deployment of machine learning systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with machine learning systems in production settings.

• Strong expertise in Python and SQL, along with experience on distributed data platforms like Spark.

• Demonstrated success in delivering production-quality machine learning models that yield measurable business results.

• Practical experience with Databricks for managing machine learning workflows, model lifecycle, and collaborative development.

• Proficiency in designing experiments and analyzing A/B tests to validate and enhance model performance.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience in mentoring or leading technical projects.
