This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Develop, optimize, and validate statistical models including multi-stage regression, ordered probit, generalized linear models, audit automation, acuity scoring, and financial forecasting.
• Create features from both structured and unstructured healthcare data (EMR, claims, revenue cycle, clinician notes).
• Refine the existing CRC NLP engine for understanding clinical notes, extracting keywords, expanding concepts, detecting negation, and scoring sentiment.
• Construct custom clinical embeddings utilizing HuggingFace Transformers, spaCy, and domain-specific vector models.
• Design and maintain a CRC private LLM, trained on internal knowledge bases, documentation, analytical logic, and care guidelines.
• Establish automated pipelines for LLM evaluation, retraining, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and grounded question answering (QA).
• Architect, construct, and implement the AI Analytics Chatbot, integrating model logic, business rules, and data sources from Fabric/Databricks.
• Incorporate ML models into production services using notebooks, APIs, or batch inference jobs.
• Aid in the creation of AI-generated reporting, insights summaries, and automated clinical/financial narratives.
• Construct maintainable ML pipelines (training, validation, deployment) using Databricks, Fabric, MLflow, GitHub, and CI/CD practices.
• Execute model monitoring, drift detection, and automated retraining.
• Package and deploy reproducible models via APIs or scheduled workflows in Fabric/Databricks.
• Collaborate with data engineering to integrate models into CRC applications.
• Work alongside BI analysts to convert model outputs into dashboards.
• Clearly document methodologies, assumptions, architecture, and validation processes.
• 3–6 years of practical experience in machine learning engineering (beyond just data science notebooks).
• Solid background in Python engineering: pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, PyTorch or TensorFlow, transformers, spaCy.
• Proven experience in building and fine-tuning LLM and NLP pipelines from start to finish.
• Familiarity with regression, ordered probit/logit, hierarchical models, and general statistical modeling.
• Experience in deploying ML workloads using Databricks, Azure ML, and Fabric.
• Proficient in SQL for feature engineering and model validation.
• Previous experience working with healthcare data (EMR, claims, RCM, CMS) is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ML systems to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-managing engineer capable of independently overseeing ML systems from end to end.
• Fluent in English is required.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible working hours and remote work opportunities.
• Professional development and training programs.
• Collaborative and innovative work environment.
