Architect / Principal, AI ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define comprehensive architecture for AI/ML and Generative AI, Agentic AI, and MCP systems, including data pipelines, model training/inference, and MLOps.

• Act as a strategic advisor/consultant to clients, facilitating discussions on solution design.

• Design scalable solutions utilizing cloud-native AI tools such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI.

• Lead the incorporation of Generative AI into components/features by integrating LLMs into enterprise applications via APIs.

• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems utilizing vector databases.

• Provide guidance on MLOps frameworks for CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, and automated retraining.

• Assess emerging technologies and trends in the domains of AI, ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI.

• Mentor technical teams and offer direction to solution architects and AI/ML engineers.

• Promote ethical and responsible practices in AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline with over 15 years of industry experience.

• Strong understanding of AI architecture patterns, including RAG, Agent AI, MCP-based systems, and prompt orchestration.

• Extensive experience with Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.

• Proficient in Gen AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini), prompt engineering, embeddings, and fine-tuning.

• Experience in designing enterprise AI systems with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, and SageMaker Pipelines.

• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Background in Data Governance, Model Risk Management, and compliance practices.

• In-depth knowledge of machine learning theory, algorithms, and methodologies.
