Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Data Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement forecasting models for product demand, pricing patterns, and quotation precision utilizing GCP-native services.

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering on extensive datasets.

• Construct AI agents for forecasting and quotation processes using agentic frameworks.

• Build and sustain production ML pipelines on Vertex AI Pipelines and Cloud Composer.

• Apply statistical experimentation frameworks to verify enhancements in models.

• Work in conjunction with data engineering teams to design feature stores and data pipelines in BigQuery.

• Enhance model performance through hyperparameter optimization and interpretability methods.

• Incorporate ML model results into agentic workflows.

• Document model architectures and communicate findings to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in machine learning engineering and data science.

• Expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels) and at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX).

• Practical experience with the GCP ML stack: Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.

• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and time-series analysis (ARIMA, Prophet, exponential smoothing, state-space models).

• Experience in building or integrating with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vertex AI Agents, or similar agentic orchestration tools).

• Proficiency in SQL for executing complex analytical queries on large-scale data warehouses.

• Familiarity with experiment tracking and model management tools (MLflow, Vertex AI Experiments, Weights & Biases).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
