Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Utilize genAI for web-based research and task automation.

• Create scalable, cost-effective, and resilient solutions utilizing AWS or GCP.

• Design, integrate, and enhance comprehensive AI pipelines through a data-centric methodology.

• Develop and oversee ML infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to facilitate data products.

• Offer engineering mentorship and direction to data scientists.

• Collaborate with ML engineers, data engineers/scientists, as well as product and operations teams.

• Work alongside data quality teams to establish data annotation and evaluation pipelines, monitoring solutions, and dashboards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to transform concepts into scalable production systems with a focus on cost efficiency.

• Familiarity with genAI frameworks and agentic development practices.

• Proficient in asynchronous and batch APIs related to GenAI, web searches, etc.

• Over 4 years of professional software development experience, showcasing strong programming skills in Python and exceptional debugging abilities.

• At least 2 years of cloud development experience, preferably with AWS.

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Machine Learning Engineer or in similar roles.

• Current knowledge of the latest advancements in ML technologies and frameworks.

• Experience in automating infrastructure and provisioning with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.

• Expertise in ML Operationalization, including workflow and model management platforms.

• Strong background in Data Engineering, encompassing data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and relevant distributed computing for both training and inference.

• Excellent collaboration skills along with strong verbal and written communication abilities in English.
