Senior Machine Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement large-scale distributed machine learning systems that are scalable, efficient, performant, and reliable.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the deployment and integration of machine learning models.

• Act as a liaison with Business Units (BUs) to address their machine learning needs and manage the cross-BU machine learning portfolio.

• Optimize processes for feature extraction, transformation, and selection.

• Oversee and manage Feature Stores to ensure reusability across various machine learning pipelines.

• Guarantee the scalability, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendliness of the machine learning platform.

• Play a key role in assessing and adopting new technologies and tools to improve our machine learning capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.

• Strong proficiency in supervised and unsupervised learning, survival analysis, time series modeling, and statistical forecasting.

• Expertise in building predictive models (e.g., churn, user journey, sales forecasting) utilizing behavioral data.

• Proficient in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.

• Experienced in model training, versioning, and monitoring processes.

• Solid foundation in MLOps practices including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, SageMaker, MLflow, model observability tools, and feature stores.

• A business-oriented mindset with the capability to align model outcomes with product and strategic objectives.
