This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Oversee the creation and execution of models for real-time feature detection and anomaly detection.
• Define data characteristic requirements for processing pipelines in real-time data.
• Develop technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and engineers.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance on various systems or products.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• 7-10 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer focused on applied research and/or production technologies.
• Proficiency in developing production training and inference pipelines using Python.
• Solid familiarity and preference for one or more deep learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch).
• In-depth understanding of systems programming (strong proficiency in C is a plus).
• Knowledge of ETL processing and experience with common tools (Kafka, Spark, etc.).
• Background in building machine learning models for unstructured data types (text, imagery, RF, telemetry, etc.).
• Familiarity with hardware acceleration (GPUs, CUDA) for training and inference tasks.
• Experience in packaging and deploying trained inference models in production settings.
• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship is required.
