This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of AI-powered features from their design phase to deployment, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to determine project scope and establish success metrics.

• Acquire and disseminate domain knowledge, addressing domain-specific inquiries related to your product area and documenting insights for the team.

• Independently prioritize your tasks, balancing feature development, quality assurance, and maintenance while clearly communicating trade-offs.

• Actively seek and provide support to colleagues through pairing, reviewing, and collaborating to advance projects.

• Comprehend and troubleshoot our deployment pipelines, which include build, test, and release processes for ML services and data pipelines.

• Utilize our monitoring and observability tools to effectively manage alerts and incidents, working with partners to restore service and prevent future occurrences, and participate in the team’s on-call rotation and incident response.

• Act as a subject matter expert for the features and services you oversee, including their data contracts, SLAs, and dependencies.

• Regularly use AI tools and advocate for their adoption throughout the company.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of industry experience in applied AI/ML and software engineering with a proven history of deploying and operating AI/ML applications in production environments.

• Experience in the architecture, system design, and implementation of GenAI products.

• Practical experience implementing AI/ML solutions for high-traffic, low-latency, large-data applications that have delivered measurable results for end users.

• Familiarity with foundation models and the open-source ecosystem, including model fine-tuning and prompt engineering for real-world product applications.

• Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, Scala, Java, SQL, etc., and strong data engineering capabilities.

• A high degree of ownership with the ability to navigate challenges to achieve success.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
