
Senior, Lung Disease Sales Specialist – Rare Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and enhance the sales of all UT products, primarily focusing on Tyvaso, within a specified territory of targeted physicians and key accounts through effective territory management and the execution of sales and marketing strategies.
• Act as a vital educational resource for all physicians and healthcare professionals (HCPs) involved in the treatment of PH-ILD and/or IPF.
• Market products in line with corporate guidelines within an assigned geographic area and designated accounts to actively engage with the PH-ILD and IPF community.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with various customer types (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, and specialty distributor personnel) to ensure effective product messaging and education on assigned UT products.
• Analyze sales data and create business plans to boost business and drive sales in key accounts, achieving or surpassing target sales objectives.
• Collaborate with other field-based team members to enhance selling, educational, and support initiatives.
• Utilize available resources appropriately and effectively to drive sales with key customers.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the disease state, product offerings, and competitive landscape.
• Use sales force automation systems to optimize territory effectiveness and maintain accurate records.
• Fulfill all UT administrative responsibilities promptly, including but not limited to expense reports and call reporting.
• Participate in local, regional, and national medical PH-ILD and/or IPF symposia and conferences to provide educational and promotional support to key stakeholders in attendance and enhance understanding of treatment trends.
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in nursing or life sciences), or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of successful experience in selling pharmaceutical therapies or similar products to specialty physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., cardiologists, pulmonologists) OR 6+ years of healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease.
• 2+ years of experience in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics areas.
• Expertise in the Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease therapeutic area.
• Strong leadership qualities with a proven sales record and exceptional communication skills.
• Demonstrated decision-making capabilities, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive knowledge of UT products and services.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
