Senior Logistics Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement the secure transportation and delivery of classified, sensitive, and mission-critical materials between operational locations and Government facilities.

• Uphold stringent chain of custody protocols and accountability documentation in line with Government security standards and established operating procedures.

• Conduct secure material handling tasks, including receipt, inspection, packaging, inventory verification, transfer, and safeguarding of classified and controlled materials.

• Organize movement schedules, routing plans, dispatch activities, and delivery priorities to align with operational needs and mission timelines.

• Engage with Government personnel, security representatives, operations centers, transportation staff, and site leadership regarding movement coordination and delivery updates.

• Monitor and track movement activities to guarantee timely delivery, operational visibility, and adherence to relevant regulations and procedures.

• Create and maintain operational reports, transportation logs, accountability records, incident documentation, and status updates for Government assessment.

• Aid in operational planning efforts by identifying transportation constraints, routing considerations, and resource needs.

• Ensure compliance with all pertinent security protocols associated with classified material handling, physical security, operational security, and transportation activities.

• Provide assistance with inventory management, asset tracking, and accountability for Government Furnished Property as needed.

• Maintain professional demeanor and operational discipline in high-tempo and sensitive mission environments.


⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to obtain, retain, and access classified information at the Secret level.

• Experience with handling classified, sensitive, or controlled materials is preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of chain of custody processes, secure handling requirements, and operational reporting practices.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced operational settings.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and operational tracking systems.

• Previous military, deployed operations, or contingency logistics experience is preferred.

• Experience supporting Department of Defense logistics or operational programs is preferred.

• Familiarity with the NAVSUP Mail Tracking System and other logistics and reporting systems is preferred.

• Experience operating in austere or high operational tempo environments is preferred.
