This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Direct and manage substantial multi-jurisdictional disputes, which include:
• Commercial litigation (e.g., contract violations, disagreements regarding equipment standards, or lease contracts)
• International arbitration (e.g., claims associated with misrepresentation, fraud, or recovery of financial losses)
• Financial recovery issues (e.g., seized assets, unauthorized transactions, or overpayments)
• Prepare and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, etc.) in essential jurisdictions (UAE, UK, EU, HK)
• Supervise all phases of litigation — from discovery and depositions to trial preparation — with minimal oversight
• Collaborate with local legal advisors to ensure seamless execution of cases
• Perform thorough legal research to inform strategic case planning
• Maintain detailed case files and ensure complete document traceability
• Draft legal memoranda, briefs, and internal advisory notes
• Oversee e-discovery processes and conduct comprehensive document evaluations
• Assist in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) efforts
• Keep litigation calendars and case management systems up to date
• Work alongside expert witnesses and cross-functional teams to enhance case strategies
• Formulate litigation strategies and help develop best practice guidelines
• Track legislative and judicial updates pertinent to key areas of practice
• Create and maintain legal templates, research databases, and resources for knowledge sharing
• Aid in internal reporting and communication efforts
• Assist with operational duties, including proposal writing and client presentation preparation
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law
• 7-10 years of practical litigation or dispute resolution experience
• Excellent analytical and legal research skills, with a strong command of legal databases
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven history of drafting accurate legal documents
• Comprehensive understanding of civil procedure, evidentiary rules, and court protocols
• Proficient in e-discovery tools and litigation support software
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple high-priority cases and meet stringent deadlines
• High degree of organization and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams
• Professional demeanor when engaging with clients, opposing counsels, and court officials
• Practical experience with Google Workspace, Notion, and LLMs
• Previous experience in commercial litigation
• Familiarity with ADR methods (mediation, arbitration, etc.)
• Experience using case management and legal project tools
• Knowledge of legal technology solutions and their use in dispute resolution
• Hands-on experience in document review and e-discovery coordination
• Willingness to travel for court appearances, depositions, or meetings with external counsel
• Flexibility to work extended hours when case demands require
• Commitment to ongoing legal education and remaining current with changing regulations
• Close collaboration with senior leadership and exposure to strategic business matters.
