Senior Linux Systems Specialist

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with the team to support our expanding customer base.

• Address technical issues and foster relationships with clients.

• Manage client inquiries and monitor system alerts.

• Execute client system patching and conduct health assessments.

• Carry out deployments following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and develop strategies to enhance their infrastructure.

• Track time for all hours worked.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems.

• Strong understanding of Networking.

• Familiarity with multiple cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCloud, Digital Ocean).

• Experience troubleshooting issues with Unix-based operating systems and IP networking.

• Proficient with RHEL or Debian-based Linux distributions.

• Solid understanding of debugging containerized workloads.

• Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.).

• Knowledge of Linux-based hypervisors and associated tools (KVM, Xen/XCP-ng, Proxmox, etc.).

• Competent in scripting with Bash and Python.

• Over 5 years of experience in the above areas.

• A technical diploma (CIS or CS) of 2 years or more.
