Senior Linux Embedded Developer – Yocto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain Embedded Linux systems utilizing Yocto.

• Create, customize, and manage Yocto meta-layers.

• Implement and improve Secure Boot processes.

• Modify and set up the U-Boot bootloader.

• Design and integrate secure software update solutions with RAUC or OSTree.

• Integrate hardware components, encompassing SoCs and secure elements.

• Develop, tailor, and maintain Linux device drivers.

• Work with NAND flash memory technologies.

• Implement features related to cybersecurity and security mechanisms.

• Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems at both the software and hardware levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto.

• Strong comprehension of Secure Boot, TrustZone, and key management systems.

• Practical experience with update frameworks such as RAUC or OSTree.

• Hands-on experience with NAND flash memory.

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including:

• Cryptographic key management

• Certificates

• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

• Experience in hardware integration, including SoCs and secure elements.

• In-depth knowledge of U-Boot customization and configuration.

• Proven track record in debugging embedded systems.

• Experience in developing Linux device drivers.

• Experience in modifying Yocto meta-layers.
