This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Design and implement a scalable portal solution tailored for non-technical administrators.
• Leverage Liferay DXP's built-in CMS features to create a decoupled, easily manageable ecosystem for admins.
• Develop Zero-Code Content Management systems allowing for editable content through Liferay's user interface.
• Set up Content Pages and Widget Pages that can be reused by administrators.
• Establish detailed permissions for content editors and administrators.
• Construct custom structures and templates for various content types, such as Blog Posts and Events.
• Create dynamic listing pages that can be managed by admins without any coding required.
• Assemble a library of reusable Liferay Fragments.
• Ensure straightforward combination of fragments for unique page layouts.
• Develop dynamic navigation and site structures that are editable by administrators.
• Configure workflows for content management that cater to non-technical users.
• Install and set up Liferay DXP along with the necessary templates and site initializers.
• Implement forms with fields and validations that can be configured by administrators.
• Over 6 years of experience in software development, particularly in Java/J2EE.
• More than 4 years of practical experience in Liferay DXP development, preferably with versions 7.3 or 7.4.
• Demonstrated success in creating a portal that allows content teams to manage the entire site without requiring code changes.
• Extensive knowledge of Liferay CMS, including Web Content Management, Structures, Templates, Fragments, Content Pages, Display Pages, and Collections.
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6), and responsive design techniques.
• Familiarity with FreeMarker for developing dynamic templates.
• Experience with Liferay Control Panel, Roles/Permissions, Site Templates, and Page Templates.
• Basic understanding of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB).
• Experience with Headless CMS: Proficient in using Liferay Headless REST APIs to decouple frontend frameworks (React/Vue) from the administrative experience.
• Knowledge of Liferay 7.4 Client Extensions for customizing the admin user interface.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines for deploying site initializers and fragments.
• Familiar with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap 5, or React components within Liferay.
• Understanding of Elasticsearch for admin-controlled faceted search.
