Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Manage corporate transactions for the Company, encompassing funding, M&A, investments, and other strategic operations in a comprehensive manner (e.g., structuring corporate documentation, participating in due diligence, negotiating investment agreements, and overseeing post-closing formalities).

• Oversee corporate secretarial duties for the French entity and its eight global subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to local corporate legislation.

• Administer our ESOP plans for collaborators across the globe and manage related formalities.

• Support the development and implementation of legal strategies for group structuring and the establishment of new entities worldwide.

• Offer corporate advice to the founders and various stakeholders within the company.

• Engage proactively with the finance team and external counsel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A legal education from France is essential.

• A Master 2 in Business Law is required; a double major in business school/political science/LLM is advantageous.

• Must be admitted to practice law in France (CAPA).

• 4 to 6 years of post-graduation experience in **corporate law** is required.

• Experience in other areas of business law is not mandatory but would be beneficial.

• Bonus - Familiarity with startup clients is a plus.

• Excellent skills in communication and drafting.

• Proficiency in both English and French, in writing and speaking, is required.
