This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Act as a vital legal partner to internal stakeholders, delivering practical and commercially viable advice on contractual and related legal issues.
• Draft, assess, negotiate, and finalize a diverse array of agreements with counterparties across various jurisdictions.
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of term sheets, letters of intent, and final contracts.
• Manage the complete contract process, which includes drafting, coordinating internal approvals, execution, and maintaining records.
• Provide guidance to business teams on the application of templates and standard legal documents, contributing to their continuous enhancement.
• Keep well-organized legal records, such as contract repositories, powers of attorney, and internal project documentation.
• Generate internal updates and reports regarding contract flow, negotiation status, and legal project developments.
• Perform legal quality checks on documentation and ensure that internal legal and compliance procedures are executed accurately and punctually.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team on broader cross-functional initiatives as necessary.
• Juris Doctor degree; an advanced legal degree would be regarded as an asset.
• Over 7 years of relevant experience in contracts, legal operations, corporate secretarial roles, or a similar legal function.
• Previous experience in a well-regarded international company, multi-jurisdictional in-house setting, or a leading law firm.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles, corporate governance, and legal/regulatory frameworks across various jurisdictions.
• Exceptional skills in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiation.
• Ability to evaluate legal risks pragmatically and propose solutions that align with business priorities and market practices.
• Strong organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Strong documentation and data management skills, with the ability to maintain legal information in a structured and up-to-date manner.
• Proficient in both Russian and English, in written and spoken forms.
• Close collaboration with senior leadership and insight into strategic business issues.
• Genuine ownership of legal projects from inception to completion.
