Senior Learning Experience Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Facilitate needs assessments and performance consulting discussions with business stakeholders.

• Establish learning strategies, objectives, and success metrics that align with business outcomes.

• Create high-quality scripts, storyboards, facilitator guides, and workbooks that are clear and consistent with the brand.

• Utilize adult learning principles (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy) to effectively organize content.

• Design comprehensive learning journeys for onboarding, leadership, and skill development programs.

• Present learning proposals and program recommendations to Learning & Development and HR leadership.

• Manage subject matter expert (SME) engagement: conduct content workshops, oversee feedback cycles, and ensure stakeholder alignment.

• Assess program impact using the Kirkpatrick model or other similar frameworks; report findings in a clear, executive-ready format.

• Spearhead the development of complex interactive courses using Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, mentoring team members on quality and expertise.

• Package and publish SCORM/xAPI-compliant modules; oversee LMS configuration and troubleshooting.

• Produce and direct supporting materials — graphics, screen recordings, animations, and short-form videos to a high standard.

• Implement and uphold quality assurance processes and development standards within the Learning & Development team.

• Take ownership of reporting on course effectiveness and provide clear recommendations for enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Learning & Development roles encompassing both instructional design and eLearning development.

• Advanced proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline + Rise).

• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design frameworks.

• Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI and enterprise Learning Management Systems.

• Ability to write clearly and simplify complex content for non-expert audiences.

• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and managing SME relationships concurrently.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capability to write for learners, present to leaders, and facilitate workshops with SMEs.
