This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead needs assessments and engage in performance consulting discussions with business stakeholders.
• Establish learning strategies, objectives, and success metrics that align with business outcomes.
• Create high-quality scripts, storyboards, facilitator guides, and workbooks that are clear and consistent with branding.
• Utilize adult learning principles (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy) to effectively structure content.
• Design comprehensive learning journeys for onboarding, leadership, and skills development programs.
• Present learning proposals and program recommendations to Learning & Development and HR leadership.
• Facilitate subject matter expert (SME) engagement: conduct content workshops, manage feedback cycles, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Assess program impact using Kirkpatrick or similar frameworks; report findings in straightforward, executive-ready language.
• Oversee the development of intricate interactive courses in Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, while mentoring other team members in quality and knowledge.
• Package and publish SCORM/xAPI-compliant modules; take ownership of LMS configuration and troubleshooting.
• Produce and direct supporting materials—including graphics, screen recordings, animations, and short-form videos—to a high standard.
• Establish and uphold quality assurance processes and development standards across the Learning & Development team.
• Manage reporting on course effectiveness and translate results into clear improvement recommendations.
• Over 5 years of experience in Learning & Development roles that encompass both instructional design and eLearning development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline + Rise).
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
• Experience with SCORM/xAPI and an enterprise Learning Management System.
• Ability to write clearly and simplify complex content for non-expert audiences.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and maintaining SME relationships simultaneously.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of writing for learners, presenting to leaders, and facilitating workshops with SMEs.
