This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conducting needs assessments and task analyses to identify business requirements.
• Developing diverse materials: facilitator guides, participant workbooks, ILT presentations, Articulate Storyline courses, job aids, and hybrid solutions tailored to specific situations.
• Collaborating with directors and senior individual contributors as a trusted design consultant rather than merely fulfilling requests.
• Leveraging AI tools to accelerate processes by prototyping outlines, drafting storyboards, and generating assets, allowing you to focus on work that demands your expertise.
• Maintaining the accuracy and currency of our content library as the business evolves.
• Leading pilot sessions for new materials and providing support for ongoing courses as needed.
• Guiding and mentoring fellow designers while establishing design and creative standards for the team.
• Over 5 years of practical corporate instructional design experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Significant experience in designing ILT, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, and classroom activities tailored for adult learners in corporate settings.
• Demonstrated capability to manage large-scale design projects from initiation to rollout with minimal supervision; you oversee the timeline and deliverables.
• Expertise in eLearning technologies (such as Articulate), along with a working understanding of audio and video editing.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks, with the practical insight to know when to apply various methods in a dynamic environment.
• Practical experience utilizing generative AI tools in your design workflow: prototyping outlines, constructing storyboards, and creating multimedia assets.
• Experience in designing a comprehensive range of skills: operational capabilities, business skills, individual contributor development, and leadership training.
• A portfolio showcasing your ability to simplify complex content across multiple formats.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, approximately 4-6 times annually.
