Senior Lead QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and guide the comprehensive QA strategy, processes, and best practices.

• Take ownership of test planning, execution, and reporting across various projects.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers.

• Propel the strategy and implementation of test automation (UI, API, and/or mobile).

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to establish acceptance criteria.

• Ensure quality is integrated early in the SDLC (shift-left testing).

• Assess requirements, designs, and technical solutions for stability.

• Monitor and communicate quality metrics, risks, and release readiness.

• Advocate for continuous improvement in tools, frameworks, and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

• At least 2 years in a QA Lead or Senior QA position.

• Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Practical experience in testing web applications, APIs, and/or mobile applications.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Nice to Have

• Experience in performance and/or security testing.

• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience in scaling QA practices within rapidly growing teams.

• ISTQB or similar certifications.
