Senior Laravel Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and uphold high-quality features for the viggoVet platform utilizing Laravel and Vue.js.

• Drive architectural choices to ensure the platform scales effectively as we welcome clinics worldwide.

• Work in tandem with our AI team to smoothly incorporate veterinary-specific AI models into the clinical workflow (e.g., intelligent SOAP notes, automated diagnostic support).

• Produce clean, maintainable, and self-documenting code.

• Perform thorough code reviews and uphold best practices (SOLID principles, TDD).

• Implement security protocols and guarantee strict data isolation while adhering to privacy regulations.

• Oversee and enhance application performance, prioritizing database efficiency and frontend rendering speeds.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional full-stack development experience.

• Extensive knowledge of PHP and the Laravel ecosystem (Queues, Jobs, Events, Eloquent).

• Strong expertise in Vue.js (preferably Vue 3), Pinia, and Tailwind CSS.

• Advanced understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.

• Established experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and K8s services.

• Proficient in written and spoken English is essential for collaboration.

• Nice to Have: Experience with WebSockets for real-time functionalities.

• Background in HealthTech or in developing Practice Management Software (PMS).

• Experience with TypeScript in a Vue environment.
