Senior Land Surveyor – Florida

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Affix stamp, seal, and assume professional responsibility for boundary, mortgage, topographic, and construction surveys.

• Conduct quality assurance and review all survey outputs generated by field teams and drafters prior to client delivery.

• Engage directly with title agents, real estate attorneys, engineers, and developers within the Fort Myers area.

• Ensure all activities adhere to Florida Statutes Chapter 472 and relevant administrative codes.

• Guide Surveyors in Training (SITs) and junior drafters by reviewing their work and assisting them on their path to licensure.

• Recognize and address project scope concerns, legal description inconsistencies, or field data issues before they affect clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Florida Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license — mandatory.

• Strong understanding of Florida survey regulations.

• Hands-on experience in boundary, mortgage, and topographic surveying.

• Proficient in reviewing CAD-generated documents and field notes for precision and thoroughness.

• Confident in client interactions, especially when discussing legal description discrepancies with attorneys.

• Capable of determining when work should be returned to the drafter and when it is ready for sealing.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required in the application process.
