Senior JVM Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain applications within the banking sector.

• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA Engineers within a self-organizing Agile (Scrum) team.

• Ensure the security and reliability of the solutions developed.

• Create and uphold unit and automated tests.

• Handle large-scale datasets with diverse structures.

• Integrate applications with internal banking systems.

• Optimize and enhance current solutions to fulfill business and technical requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.

• Strong proficiency in Java 17.

• Practical experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Solid understanding of RDBMS databases.

• Strong grasp of software development best practices and design principles, including SOLID, DRY, KISS, and Clean Code.

• Experience across the entire software development lifecycle.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Apache Cassandra.

• Basic knowledge of Python.

• Experience in complex, highly integrated environments.

• Understanding of testable software design and automated testing methodologies.

• Experience in data modeling and SQL query optimization.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
