Senior JavaScript/Node.js Developer, FinTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and develop extensive software solutions and components utilizing various technologies, primarily emphasizing Node.js and ReactJS.

• Ensure a consistently high standard of quality across all phases of the development process.

• Engage in effective communication to work collaboratively with the team and gain comprehensive understanding of complex tasks.

• Adhere to best engineering practices, along with company and client standards.

• Take on supervisory, advisory, and mentorship roles for less-experienced engineers within the team.

• Advocate for clean code practices, as well as design patterns and principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end software development.

• At least 3 years of experience working with TypeScript.

• Over 4 years' experience with Node.js.

• Familiarity with AI Agentic systems and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations.

• Strong background in designing distributed and secure systems.

• Proficient in front-end development.

• Good knowledge of microservices architectures.

• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining APIs.

• Skilled in building and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Understanding of DevOps practices.

• Extensive experience with AWS.

• Knowledge of testing best practices.

• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript and ES6 libraries.
