Senior Java/AWS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create applications for loan products that can be paid through payroll deductions.

• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications in Java, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

• Design and implement solutions on AWS utilizing services like EC2, S3, Lambda (using Python), RDS, among others.

• Integrate Java applications with cloud infrastructure to guarantee efficiency and security.

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes using CI/CD and various tools.

• Maintain code quality through practices including code reviews, automated testing, and the application of design patterns.

• Monitor, optimize, and sustain AWS services and resources to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.

• Work closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

• Actively engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial conception to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Java development.

• Proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining AWS Lambda functions and AWS Glue jobs.

• Strong knowledge of AWS with practical experience in services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SSM, and more.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and service-oriented development methodologies (SOA).

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).

• Knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies, including Docker, EKS, and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Ability to efficiently and collaboratively solve complex problems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
