Senior Java Software Engineer – Product R&D, Innovation & Ownership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• As a Senior Java Developer, you will join our team and work alongside a cross-functional group to design, develop, and enhance features and technologies for the CSG Quote & Order product.

• During your initial 90 days, you'll acclimate to our system, establish strong connections with your colleagues, and initiate new feature development to create exceptional outcomes for our customers.

• Advocate for clean and efficient code by providing insightful feedback on pull requests and ensuring the team adheres to high standards.

• Inspire and mentor team members by sharing your knowledge and assisting others in enhancing their skills.

• Work closely with product and design teams to convert customer requirements into meaningful, user-friendly features.

• Take responsibility for our systems. Identify inefficiencies, address bottlenecks, and ensure everything operates seamlessly.

• Assess new tools, frameworks, and industry trends to maintain our position at the cutting edge of innovation and productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have over 5 years of experience working with modern Java SE (17+) and possess a deep understanding of it.

• You excel in collaborative environments and can easily communicate and cooperate with your peers.

• You are well-versed in Linux and Docker.

• Familiarity with development tools such as GitHub, Maven, and Kubernetes is essential.

• Additional experience with AWS/Azure, PL/PGSQL, MyBatis, Camunda BPMN Engine, REST API frameworks, and other components of our technology stack will earn you bonus points.
