Senior Java, React Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Creating and implementing scalable features for users utilizing contemporary front-end technologies such as React JS and JavaScript;

• Guaranteeing responsive design and compatibility across various browsers;

• Enhancing the front end of applications for optimal performance;

• Connecting back-end services with the user interface;

• Designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate front-end functionalities;

• Constructing server-side logic using programming languages like Java;

• Overseeing databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and crafting efficient queries;

• Enforcing security protocols and data protection strategies;

• Expertise in DevOps tools, including Azure DevOps;

• Collaborating closely with various stakeholders and engaging in Sprint ceremonies to ensure alignment with Agile methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Over 5 years of experience in Java J2EE for web application development

• More than 5 years of experience with relevant frameworks and technologies (Hibernate, RESTful services, Spring JDBC, MVC, etc.)

• At least 2 years of experience in UI development using React, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and SQL

• Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic and Tomcat, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Experience with API management and cloud-based platforms and services (AWS, Google)

• Practical knowledge of DevOps practices: Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, etc.

• Understanding of Test Driven Development practices along with Automation and Unit Testing

• Strong analytical abilities

• Experience in architecting and developing large-scale enterprise applications

• Proficient in agile development methodologies

• Experience in developing applications for the financial sector is a plus.
