This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Design, architect, and develop applications based on models.
• Drive enhancements in products across schemas, frameworks, and platforms.
• Mentor the team in best-practice technical design through collaboration and by setting examples.
• Comprehend department-wide initiatives and guidelines, collaborating with teams to ensure alignment with Engineering-wide policies and direction.
• Manage a backlog of tools and technology upgrades to enhance the maintainability and quality of solutions.
• Promote collaborative teamwork by advising on and enforcing best practices when necessary.
• Keep abreast of technologies and best practices pertaining to CI/CD tools and developer productivity.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in delivering successful SaaS products.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity.
• A proactive self-starter eager to make a significant impact.
• Excellent communication skills with experience in team leadership.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#.
• Capable of learning at various levels of the tech stack, from detailed technical implementation to overarching control and data flow.
• Comfortable translating specifications into a technical approach and defining project scope.
• Able to assess engineering solutions within a business context.
• Passionate about software quality and empathetic towards customer experience.
• Extensive technical knowledge and experience with at least two of the following DevOps platforms: GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Experience in implementing redundancy and disaster recovery plans.
