Senior Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Designing, testing, and debugging software applications utilizing Java.

• Identifying and resolving issues encountered during development.

• Involvement in nearly every phase of the software development life cycle: from analysis and design to implementation, integration testing, and quality assurance.

• Comprehending client requirements, analyzing, implementing new features, and addressing bugs.

• Delivering adaptable software designs that facilitate the incorporation of change requests promptly.

• Creating documentation including user guides, technical specifications, and design documents on Confluence.

• Engaging in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.

• Backbase certification is essential.

• At least 5 years of experience in Java web development.

• Strong experience with the Java Spring Boot framework and Java programming language.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and RESTful APIs.

• Proficient in Postgres SQL or MySQL.

• A results-oriented individual.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong testing capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
